  2. Some notes concerning browsing the WWW sites on CUCD3;
  3.  
  4. There's only one browser that will work properly off the CD and that's AWeb.
  5. However the Voyager browser does a better job of displaying the HTML for a
  6. variety of reasons.
  7.  
  8. Voyager requires MUI and it will require being installed on your HD since it
  9. caches every viewed page to disk for speed of access later.
  10.  
  11. Once this is installed, you will need to use the Windows/Open Local File
  12. menu option to load in the HTML. You need to select the CUCD3:WWW/CUCDWWW
  13. directory and then click on index.html. You might like to consider adding
  14. this in as a button and saving the preferences. Pick settings/GUI and select
  15. the links page. Here change one of the Home Page box to read;

  17. file:///CUCD3:WWW/CUCDWWW/index.html

  19. Then everytime Voyager is run, it will prompt for the CUCD3 CD if not
  20. installed and then access the pages off CD.

  22. You may still use MUI off CUCD3 if it's left in the drive and the InitCD
  23. icon is clicked on but this is recommended to be installed also.

  25. Note: The IBrowse demo may render the pages even BETTER but unfortunately
  26. this demo is time limited and will time out after only a couple of weeks
  27. after the on-sale date of this CD.
